Checking Memory for Problems?

Is there a way in Windows98 or thru a downloadable program to check
whether my computer's memory is working correctly? Ever since I added
memory I have been getting shutdowns, etc.

memtest86 is a good proggie for checking memory...

memtest86 is a good proggie for checking memory...

did, you restart with taking out the memory and seeing if you get shut downs
have u tride msconfig it could be somthing running at start up i would try
taking the added memory out and see if it shutdown and if it does then its
not ur memeory its something on the computer such as a virus

Go to Microsoft.com and search for the Memory Diagnostic Tool.
