can I do anything without a system disk ? also I was told there is a
dos command that will erase everything on the system so I can start over

The dos command is format and the specific drive u want to do Im pretty sure
that is what it is but im having trouble rembering but im pretty sure

First take the floppy out of it's drive and remove any CDs then reboot
and see what happens. If you still have a problem quote us the exact
error message.
