I bought a used Compaq 8 port KVM switch without instructions. I was
wondering what keys I hit on the keyboard to switch PCs without hitting the
button on the box. I have tried everything that I can think of.

I dont have a compaq swich but for the switch i do have u hit scroll lock
twice

On mine, you press "Print Screen" and it presents a menu from which
you can select the port either with the mouse or the keyboard (e.g.
<PrintScreen> 2 <Enter>).
