belkin usb hub 2.0 ergant

I bough resently a usb hub a belkin brand and when it is plug in my computer
doesnt restart right ?

Always use "powered" usb hubs.

It does power up its pluged in and is working properely but when i restart
the monitor willl not come off of standby
