letters change to numbers

I am running win98SE. When I type in an e it changes to an 8, a t
changes to a 5 and a u changes to a 7. I put on mcafee virus scan
because I thought it might be a virus, but it didn't find one. I
tried to reformat, but when I typed the t and then tried to backspace
to change the 5 to a t it turned into a ^Z. Anyone have a clue what my
problem might be?

Re: letters change to numbers

You were right. I found out someone spilled a pop on the keyboard.
Thanks for the advice.
