Question about large file down load

Hi,
I used "realdownload" to down load file from web months ago. Sometimes
it was halted automatically found when I checked from the Ctrl+Alt+del
stroke. Then I disabled it. Recently I download files directly from
IE6 and find it is often broke in the access of large file
downloading. So I have to go back to the realdownload. And I want to
reinstall it from www.real.com. But I cannot download it anymore even I
find a link in that website to its downloading.

Anyway, can you tell me some advices to download large files from
internet? Are there some good free softwares to do that job?

Thanks in advance.

Go to http://www.tucows.com

Click your platform such as windows-internet-download managers

There are some which are freeware but most are shareware..

Getright is the best but if you want to continue using it you will
have to pay. The program will expire in 30 if you don't pay. Cost is
$25.

Re: Question about large file down load

actually, getright will never expire. It is like winzip and only displays a
nag screen. I replaced getright in favour of download.com's download
manager.
