| How to edit a .gif file? Hi, I have a graphics file, with some alphanumeric characters. I would like to edit those, replacing them with some other text. It would be ideal to use the same font, but anything close will do. Putting it another way, I'm looking for a 'software white-out' tool, followed by replacing the erased area. I'm using Windows 2000. Any suggestions? I have access to Photoshop, if necessary, but I've never used it. What's the learning curve on that program? Thanks, -- Rich |

Also Paint Shop is shareware which makes the price right and you can get a free trial version. I'm sure there are simpler and easier programs out there but if you get through the so called learning curve of either of these two programs you'll find it well worth it and probably even fun. Hank |

| Re: How to edit a .gif file? I found a neat little program called Ulead GIF Animator 5. It does exactly what you're asking. There is a version, if you just need it for one pic. http://www.ulead.com/ga/trial.htm "Rich Delaney" <r_delaney2001******.com> wrote in message news:2eda37b1.0310080336.1aac6341@posting.google.c om... > Hi, I have a graphics file, with some alphanumeric characters.
