When installing XP on a new harddrive without any operating system, do
you need startup floppys like Win 2K??

I would think that the Win XP CD is bootable and you can goto the BIOS of
late model computers and tell it to boot from CD and start the install
process. Hopefully, you have a CD player.

Duane :)

I also have to go into the setup and enable the CD player so during
startup the CD will boot..
