Various Problems By SHIKHAR

Hi,
Sometime ago my mainboard and processor crashed,, the m.board was ASUS
A7v266ex and processor was AMD Athlon XP 2000+ Model 6.
The processor was replaced with Model 8 2000+ and the board was
repaired.
I upgraded my bios to latest 1011 also

The problem starts now,, when I assembled the system back, the system
is showing strange behaviour,

1. When I install Windows XP then at the time of Detecting Devices the
system goes in for a hang and the system goes on doing this only and
XP is not getting itself installed.

2. In windows 98, after installing the proper drivers it frequently
boots up in safe mode and sometimes tell me that "Your desktop
settings are not correct change your display settings by Display
properties".

3. Sometimes Knoppix ., the self booting linux recognizes my Sound
Card,, which is SBlive Value,, and sometimes it doesn't,

4. Windows Media Player does not start

5. DVD players does not start

6. Keyboard And Mouse sometimes are not detected.

Please help me
Thank You
