| Re: 800MHz FSB What's he using the computer for? Just surfing the net and word processing, or games and such? -- Night_Seer "Flagg" <flagg@esbauman.com> wrote in message news:ACg7b.400538$Ho3.60645@sccrnsc03... > is there that much difference that the average person can notice between > 800MHz FSB and a 533 MHz FSB...friend of mine wants a new computer and he > can save some moneys by buyin the 533 instead of the 800 hes not big into > computers but wants one faster than his old one > > tia > > |

Here is a vendor link with prices (disclaimer: I am not affiliated with TCWO) http://www.tcwo.com/cgi-bin/webc.cgi...4oBmP0mIMQzCHV I would go for a board with the Intel 865 chipset that way he can "save money" on a cheaper P4 but can upgrade to a HT P4 that utilizes 800FSB. | Re: 800MHz FSB Well like steve said, the differences in price between a 533 and 800 fsb are small, so unless you get a really good deal on a P4b go with a P4c. -- Night_Seer "Flagg" <flagg@esbauman.com> wrote in message news:4pN7b.408586$YN5.275121@sccrnsc01... > i guess he is using it for surfin and running his quickbooks program... > "Night_Seer" <ecamacho4 at hotmail dot com> wrote in message > news:wdydnfzB8YFrasCiRVn-gg@speakeasy.net... > > What's he using the computer for?
