| Has anyone ever heard of this? Hi there-hope you all can help, I brought a base unit new from a company on ebay, only what they sent was not the spec listed on ebay. Understandbly, I was not pleased and immedietly called them (they also delivered it late). It came with a 40 gb hd, and initially I tried to set it up so it would boot from the 60 gb transfered from my old system only it wouldnt. According to the tech guy at the company I brought it from, it wont because the new mobo looks for the relevant drivers relating to it. Is this really true? If so how do I get to keep my files/settings/operating system? Do I need to transfer them onto the new drive? (I was offered as compensation a new 60gb hd-that was three weeks ago and no show so far). If so then how? Floyd |
