bad floppy disk

Hi All,

I've got a floppydisk of 1,44 Mb which is bad. I got it open and it seemed
that the ireon middle-part wasn't attachted to the actual data-round.
Well, my idea was to use some glue to mend this but the disk still can't be
read. The drive produces a kind of scraping sound but isn't able to read it.
In the windows-explorer it gives the error that the floppy isn't formated.
In DOS it just can't be read. It contains a couple of Word documents
I've looked around on the internet, but haven't found a satisfiying answer
yet.
The floppy is owned by my boss and it would realy make a big impression if I
could manage to get some data back.
Thanks in advance and sorry for my poor English.
Bye

Jill.

Re: bad floppy disk

Your boss is screwed. Want to make an impression? Try explaining the
proper way to store data that he cares about (a floppy ain't it).
