| keyboard after a while my keyboard quits working i have to reboot to get it back and while it is working and i hit the cap lock or num lock keys i hear a beep from the computer i have checked the cord it is plugged in tight and it is working right now but i dont know how long it will last any ideas why this is happening? tia eric |

| Re: keyboard Try getting an inexpensive keyboard to try. The beeps are likely a sound setting in the keyboard config software( you didn't mention if it was anything special, with enhanced function keys).
