hello everybody,

i recently got on the computer to surf the net a bit. for some
reason, internet explorer will no longer download pictures or hot
links with pictures on them. our homepage is google.com, and it won't
even download the google graphics. i've done a few searches on the
net, but haven't found anything that i'm willing to try. can anyone
help me figure this out???

Open your IE Browser click on "Tools" > "Internet Options" > "Advance
Tab" scroll down to "Multimedia" and tick the box "Show Pictures"

thanks everybody. one thing: my mom does a bookkeeping/accounting
business on this computer. if i do a system restore, will that mess
up her quickbooks stuff???
