Re: how do I know 32 bit or 64 bit?

If you don't know, its probably the 32-bit version...is your computer a
white box, or is it a Compaq or dell or something like that. If you are
trying to install a patch, and it gives you the choice...it won't let you
install the wrong one.

"Night_Seer" alludes to the correct direction, namely that you go to Windows
Update, and simply try to download anything 64-bit. My bet is that you'll be
refused, hence you're 32-bit. Explanation is that 64-bit is
"latest/greatest", but most importantly a focus of say, an application
server. Some info here:
