| TFT Monitors Hi. I am currently looking at buying a high-end PC running something like a 128MB Radeon 9800 Pro - primarily for playing games. Many such systems come with 18" or 19" TFT displays, and I was wondering if somebody could please advise me on how suitable such displays are for gaming. For example, do they tend to suffer from lag (i.e. slow refresh, after-image, etc) and is the resolution compromised. Would I perhaps be better-off spending my money on a larger CRT monitor? Thanks for your help. Simon |

| Re: TFT Monitors flat screens are better. If you want to get the best display for games consider buying a apicture-grille monitor. there are 2 different types of monitors. Most are shadow mask monitors(many manf.) the ap-grille monitors are only made by 2 companies, and cost more and come in the larger sizes. my samsung 1200NF 22" is about $550-600. if you want the best then get an apicture-grille monitor.
