| Re: floppy drive not working. No it doesn't get to the desktp. It is during the boot sequence before windows loads that i get the "remove disk" message as you would if you booted with a non-system disk in your floppy. That is why i thought maybe the floppy wasn't being recognized because it is not working properly and the power light goes on.
