| Recover deleted files after sytem recovery hello my name is shannon and i have a really big problem with our home computer that i hope i may find an answer for. There are four children in this house that use the computer. The oldest who is a straight a student and at the moment is having a meltdown. We have been having a difficult time starting and shuting down the computer and the last thing we done was used the "system recovery" on the computer. We didn't use a disk it was the aption after system restore and that didn't work. I have windows vista. I'm trying to recover files that were deleted that are very important for her school work. She is in advanced classes and has or had alot of her work on the computer. I hope i could find out one way or the other if there is a chance to recomer anything. Thank you very much.      |

| Re: Recover deleted files after sytem recovery Sorry to hear about your problems. It might be worth trying a tool called Recuva - download it from the web. It will find deleted files for you and help you revover them if it is possible. |

| Re: Recover deleted files after sytem recovery There are many software tools related to your problem. They are called data recovery software. All of them have some special features, and what you choose depends on your problem. All of them are not perfect. My brother uses Advanced File Recovery that you can use on internal hard drives, as well as on external storage devices, such as external hard drives, floppy disks and all sorts of other removable data storage devices.
