Exclamation Help! Buidling Computer, Wont install vista

My friend and i have built my new gaming computer from parts from newegg.com and cant get vista to install. everytime we vista starts to install it will randomally restart and i will have to start over any ideas??

Hi there Jack First question: What's your kit? Does Vista bring up any error messages during the install? Have you checked that the CD is clean and scratch free? To me, a random restart sounds more like a hardware issue than software. Check that all connectors are in properly & run tests on your memory (memtest), HDD (contact manufacturer, each has their own testing software), etc. Try it with a different PSU too. It may be new kit, but it's not unheard of to have faulty new hardware, we see it now and again where I work. Good luck with this.

Check the specifications of your computer if they are compatible with Vista OS. Vista requires high memory (RAM), large disk space and faster clock speed. If the specs of your PC doesn't meet the requirements of Vista OS, install lower version XP
