Is my problem with Mouse or facebook and tesco?

I have a problem with 2 websites that I usually use all the time (facebook and tesco online).

With facebook it doesn't let me get past the log-in page - it just asks me for the detail again.

If I get in by the 'reset my password link' it then doesn't let me respond to any messages.

With tesco I can not open any tab - I used to just click on the tab I wanted (eg grocery/ household tabs) but now I have to press Ctrl _ left mouse button and then it opens it in a completely new window. It then wont save the order once I've finished either - it's like I go back to the beginning.

I've done everything recommended (clearing cookies/ clearing temp internet files/ downloading Java/ hitting Ctrl + F5 on a new page.

I'm wondering if I've accidently set up some block on websites or if my mouse isn't working right (although it works on other sites.

I can access the sites from another pc so I know the problem is with this pc at home.

Any suggestions?

Re: Is my problem with Mouse or facebook and tesco?

I seem to have solved my own problem.

I did a system restore to about a month ago - everything now working properly. I noted that by resetting the system I had uninstalled a HP Security download. This wasn't something that showed up when I looked at my programmes before and somethinge I didn't need as we use the Virgin PC guard.

I can therefore only think that this download was what was causing the problem.
