Hylian Hero is on a distinguished road
Tech junkies please help... (monitors)

Ok, so here is my problem.

I would like to have a dual monitor setup with a ps3 hooked up to one of my monitors.

I already have this monitor (it only has a dvi port and d-sub):

And I would like to buy this monitor and connect a ps3 (using an hdmi to dvi cable) to it (it only has dvi and vga):

So here are my four questions:

1. How can I make this work?
2. How much resolution do I lose in the process?
3. Is the Samsung Syncmaster T220 really worth the trouble?
4. Are there any better monitors you'd like to suggest (22" to 26") that would be better for gaming?
