| Missing file after virus scan I scanned my pc with avast home (which i use). After that when i start windows it gives an error message : "Cannot find the file SSVICHOSST.exe (or one of its component). make sure the path & fileneme are correct and that all required libraries are available" I use windows 2000(NT). Can anybody please help me with this? Thanks anyway. |

| Re: Missing file after virus scan It sounds like your PC is trying to load a virused file that's been removed. Download and install Hijack This!, do a scan and post your log file. |

| Re: Missing file after virus scan You can repair this problem using your Operating system installer (Windows 2000 (NT)). Boot your PC to cd rom and insert your OS installer. From the menu, choose repair so that the previous operating system settings are still unchanged. |
