Please help - C:\Documents and Settings\username\Recent

Hi All,

I have a perplexing issue regarding my "recent" folder, and I was hoping someone would be able to clarify for me.

I streamed an online video on December 31st, but when I went into the "recent" folder on January 1st, it showed an incorrect date of December 30th in the "date modified" field. It did also show the correct date as well, but I am certain I only streamed the video once, and not twice like the computer seemed to indicate.

I understand that they are all shortcut files in the "recent" folder... are dates associated with shortcut files inaccurate? Can anyone please shed some light on why my computer would do this?

By the way, I already checked, and the date on my computer is accurate.

Thanks in advance!
