Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II (26xxx)

I have this TV tuner card on my Gateway GM5260, Windows XP, and get no sound when hooking up my JVC camcorder with the provided A/V composite cable to the back of the tuner card, using the provided line in connections yellow/red/white and recording with microsoft windows movie maker, media center edition version 5.1 (also listed as version 2.1.4026.0). The picture works fine - just no sound. I tried recording with default "best recording type" as well as many other available options like "video for broadband" and others. Thanks for any help!
