XP on new Dells

Hi Everybody.

I was thinking of buying a Dimension E521 but reading about the troubles people are having with Vista I was rapidly going off the idea. But now they are to offer XP, its back on again. I have never had a Dell before and would welcome your opinion on their systems. I am trying to save the hassle of building and this look like a good deal. I have a few questions that perhaps you could answer for me. Does it come with a system disk? Or is the OS on a partition? If so could I uninstall Vista but leave the partition and install XP, then in the future when Vista is up and running properly reinstall?

Mykee.

Re: XP on new Dells

I buy Gateways but there are nice things about purchasing a Dell. For example, they will customize your PC; There is a Dell customer service agent who frequents this site; and you will save your time assembling the PC.

Best of luck.
