US schools are obsolete. Our society doesn't need to lock kids up into classrooms, abuse them for not "learning" mundane, unessential and useless facts that hold no importance to their life and then ruin their futures by pounding on the unruly's hopes and dreams. Each day we fail our children. Each day we lose to other nations. Day by day, we toss out platitudes, money and 'grants' to help improve student achievement. In the meantime, the system sucks up the money. We fail to accept that the system is the problem. It will never work despite the amount of money tossed into the pot.
It's a sick joke. And it's happening under the watch of every parent. Ah, the executives of corporations see it too. Their solution is to simply send the jobs overseas and put their money into other country's infrastructures.
