| Tablet PC: Rent to Own Bluffton High School has joined with a new Philadelphia-based company that offers parents a rent-to-own program to purchase laptop computers that are compatible with the school's system. Parents can purchase two different models of Toshiba computers through the program and can pay for the machines in cash or make 42 monthly payments, after which they own the computer. The company, called eKAT, is selling a Toshiba Tecra A2 with software that matches the high school's software for $1,474, or $1,744 if covered by an insurance plan. Parents choosing the monthly payment option must have the insurance and will pay $59.95 a month, which totals $2,517 after 42 months. The higher-end model, the Toshiba M200 Tablet PC, costs $2,156, or $2,506 with insurance. Monthly payments are $74.95, which is $3,147 after 42 months. Bluffton High links up with laptop distributor
