| Problems with fresh install Looks like this forum has not been used in awhile. I will see if anyone is still watching over it. I am working on a Averatec C3500 tablet. I did a fresh install of the OS. I updated all of the drivers ( I think). Updated to sp3. Now two items are not working right. 1. usb port when I plug in a flash drive or ext. cd drive it locks up computer. 2. internial cd/dvd does not see mfg disks. I have run audio disk that are home made. but the install disks for office or any other program or audio disks are not seen by cd reader. I do not know if I need different driver or firmware. lost as to where to try to fix problems. Any help would be appreciated IceMeister      |

| Re: Problems with fresh install got it fixed looks like a bad connector to the MB from drive caused all the problems. Only worked for some functions and not others. Thanks for the forum IceMeister |
