True video iPod vs fake video iPod

Some people have been talking about Apple someday releasing a true video
iPod. Does true mean anything more than a wider screen?

What does "true video" mean for you?
Rumors have suggested that this wider screen would be achieved
by having the controls available via touch on the screen itself.

I wonder if in the more distant future we have video devices
with eye cups that could deliver high quality 3d video. I can
just imagine the number of people using *these* and driving
at the same time.
