Building a Minimal Boot CD

I could do this easily enough with the old OS, but I'm unsure what's
essential in OSX. There don't seem to be Google pages on this.

I'm looking to make a CD for very basic housework.

AND can I make a boot CD - single user mode - with just Applejack?

Can anyone help me. please?
