Office Basics--installing, upgrading, maintaining, and troubleshooting
Microsoft Office 2004, and migrating accounts from Entourage to Mail and
back. John Livingston has been using and helping others learn to use
Microsoft Office applications for over 14 years, he leads dBug's Office
Applications SIG, and fields Members' questions on the dBug ExChange.
During this class, he will show what you need to do before installing
Microsoft Office, the specifics of setting up Office after installing
it, how to turn off annoying features, where to store backup files, how
to determine if you're running the latest version of Office, where to
get upgrades, and saving files that will open in earlier versions of
Office -- as well as Office for Windows. The importance of using web
browsers to back up and secure e-mail accounts will also be demonstrated.
