Downloading problems...

Hello:

Each time I try to download Microsoft's 11.2.6 Updater for MS Office from

http://download.microsoft.com

I get the following dialog box:

"The connection to the update server was interrupted. The server might be
too busy, or there might be a problem with your network connection. Wait a
few minutes, and then try again."

When I attempt to download it from

http://www.microsoft.com/mac/downloa...ion=/mac/downl
oad/office2004/Office2004_1126.xml&secid=4&ssid=30&flgnosysreq=Tr ue

I get the following dialog box:

Safari can¹t open the page
³http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...34-b4c9-a4a569
00c5fd/Office2004-1126UpdateEN.dmg² because it can¹t find the server
³download.microsoft.com²

I get similar results when using Internet Explorer.

Can anyone tell me if I have a Preferences setting set incorrectly, or offer
other suggestions? I have no trouble downloading anything else from any
other website.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Have you tried contacting Microsoft? Since you say you have no trouble
downloading from other sites, the problem is probably not a wrong setting.
If you can't download an update to a legal copy of Office, I think Microsoft
will try to help.
