Hi everyone,

I am trying to get an old external microphone (which came with a G3 many
years ago) working with my Macbook Pro.

When I try and plug it into the audio port, it doesn't fit all the way
and leaves about 3/4 of a centimeter sticking out.

I know there is a built in mic on the Macbook Pro itself.

Does anyone know if these older style mics can be used on the newer
computers.
