Q: How Can I Report a Bug to Apple (iTunes problem)?

MacOS 10.3.9 on a G5.

I have just checked Apple's web site but was unable to find a means of
reporting an apparent software bug. I think I recall that a poster to this
NG told how to do that, and I would appreciate it if someone could supply
the information. Also, can anybody shed some light on the problem described
below?

I recently upgraded (if that is the term) to iTunes 6.0.5. I just noticed
that when I play certain songs the song name changes. (The file name on the
disk does not change, just the song title iTunes displays.) The same thing
happens if I choose Get Info from the File menu (or use. the equivalent key
combination). I can change it back in the Get Info dialog, but the change
does not "stick." The next time, the name changes again.

As far as the Summary tab of the Get Info window is concerned, these files
(so far) are all QuickTime Movie files. (A few that I tried are holdovers
from when I was running under OS 8.6, and the creator is not QuickTime.) I
played one of them using QuickTime 7.1.1, and the song title QuickTime
displays is the same one that iTunes "prefers" (rather than the one I
prefer).

This does not happen with all songs (fortunately), just MIDI files that
iTunes thinks are QuickTime movies.

I did not have this problem with earlier versions of iTunes. It is very
unpleasant having the name suddenly change to something I do not recognize.
I think I should be able to decide what I want a song to be called. If I
want to refer to Yankee Doodle as Dixie, why shouldn't I be able to?

That seems to be a page to suggest new music, not tech support. Try the
discussion forums on apple's support pages. I assume they monitor those.
