I think that Toast 5.2.x runs under 9.2.2 (as well as OS X). What have
you tried? Don't use the "DVD" setting; instead, tell Toast you want to
make a "Mac OS Extended CD" and put a blank DVD in your burner. Toast
recognizes the media, and creates the thing. I haven't tried _any_ of my
data DVDs that I've made this way on Windows machines, so I can't tell
you if they work, but they probably should.

I don't know where to get a legal copy of Toast 5. There may be
something free you can find to play with.

Yep. To get the Free DVD burner application, you upgrade to MacOS X. I
found this out when I took my time running MacOS 9 on a Dual 1GHz
system. It booted MacOS 9, so I ran that for a while until I was ready
to run MacOS X. But to burn CDs or DVDs, I had to buy a copy of Toast
Lite off of eBay. Cost me $24.

So those are your options, AFAIK.
