Won't Burn a DVD! "This type of CD is not supported"

Won't Burn a DVD! "This type of CD is not supported"

I keep trying to burn DVDs and have the proper media, and have burned
DVDs in the past... but now I can't!

I get the error, "This type of CD is not supported".

But I have burned on this type of DVD just the day before!

I have tried iDVD and the finder, trying to burn data and iMovies... but
neither work.

Any ideas???????

What are you using to try to burn the CD? The Apple thing, or a 3rd
party application?

CD.

Sorry. I got confused with your Error Message.

Have you tried Roxio Toast? That works slick like bunny rabbits for me.
You will want version 7.0.

In Toast, you have to manually select CD, DVD, DVD-DL. Have you, by any
chance, inserted a DVD when Toast is set up to burn to CD?

The selector is bottom RH side, just above the big red BURN button

What type of media do you have + or -?
Some Apple burners only support - (minus).
