| PowerBook G3 and flash storage cards Hi all. I purchased a PowerBook G3 on eBay a few weeks ago, installed with MacOS 9.2.2. The two PCMCIA slots works perfectly with a wireless modem and a USB port adapter that the previous owner had also included. However, when I insert a flash storage card, it only appears on the Desktop as a card icon named "4MB FLASH." I can't open it or copy any files to it from the Finder, and the "Erase Disk" option is greyed out. ("Eject" on the other hand, works fine.) So what's the problem here? The PowerBook clearly recognizes the card -- is there some utility I need to make it usable? Any help here would be appreciated. |
