| HELP!! Why Won't My DVD-R Drive Work???? HELP!! Why Won't My DVD-R Drive Work???? I have 2 separate Powerbook 1GHz G3 Powerbooks with OS 9.2.2 and OS 10.3.9. I have BLANK DVD+R Discs made by Sony and Verbatim. 4.7 GBS, 120 minutes. I have recorded on these drives before, but now they don't work. They will READ DVDS fine, but when I put in the BLANK Sony or Verbatim DVD+R discs, in either OS X.3.9 or OS 9.2.2, the DVD-R drive won't recognize them at all and spits them out no matter what I do. It says they are unrecognizable as DVD media. The drives record CD-Rs fine. What's the issue? The DVDs are made by separate manufacturers, but neither brand works. Please help. .................................................. ...............
