Hello, I am trying to share two usb printers over a network. They are
connected to a G4 running OSX 10.3.9 with printer sharing enabled. The
print sever is connect via a standard cat 5 to a broadband router. The
router has 3 othe g4 macs connected to it.
Everything worked well for several months. Then I started getting
printer messages saying that the print job has been stopped. I checked
the print monitors on both clinets and print server and they showed the
job stopped. When I tell it to resume, it stops again.
I CAN print directly from the server, just not from the clients.
I used to at least get the printers in the printer setup window on the
clients. Now there are no printers seen.
I have ran a print utility and repaired the prefs.
I know the net works because I can get on the internet and also file
share between G4s.
any help ?
