| NFS tunnel problem I am trying to share files from Mac OS X (10.2.8) to Linux with NFS over a SSH tunnel. Mac is the NFS and SSH server, Linux is the client. Without SSH tunneling, everything is ok, the NFS share can be mounted on my Linux box. The SSH tunnels can be set up without any problems, but then when I try to mount the share on the client (Linux) I get the following error: mount: RPC: Authentication error; why = Client credential too weak Here are the comands I execute on the client: > ssh -c blowfish -f -L 7777:127.0.0.1:2049 -L 8888:127.0.0.1:1018 server sleep 1000 > mount -t nfs -o tcp,hard,intr,port=7777,mountport=8888 localhost:/share /mnt/share I think this has to do with unprivileged ports. This could be solved with the options 'insecure' or 'noresvport' in the configuration of the NFS server. My problem is that these options don't seem to exist on Mac OS X! How can I fix this problem? Thank you. |
