Delete forwards on a PowerBook with OS X

In case anyone is still wondering how to delete forwards with a PowerBook
keyboard and Mac OS X, I'm happy to report that this trick works perfectly:

Press the "fn" key with the "delete" key.

It works in all applications, as far as I know, but I'll gladly learn of
exceptions.

I apologise to anyone who thinks this information comes from the department
of teaching Grandmother how to suck eggs. I discovered the trick only a few
hours ago.
