NEW HARD DRIVE - NOT FINDING

Bought new hard drive, installed it + turned the mac on with the osx cd in
the drive. The osx installer ran but when it came to selecting a destination
there was no hard drive... Any Ideas????

If you installed it right, you have to run Disk Utility and format the drive
for the Mac to recognize it. Format the drive and you should be good to go.
