camera phone to OSX via USB

I have an iMac 333mhz G3 (ca. 1999) with 512k running OS10.3.8.
I just bought a Motorola V551 wireless phone, which has a camera built
in. There is a cable available that will connect the phone to a USB port.
Q's: Will OSX identify the camera if I get this cable? Will I be able
to download photos? Will I need specific software?

All comments welcome, and TIA.

Perhaps not the answer you were looking for.. does the v551 support
Bluetooth ? Mac Bluetooth support is superb, and a USB bluetooth
dongle for your mac is likely to be cheaper than the specific
Motorola cable.

This would get around the nasty 'are there drivers for this' device
problem..

I use Bluetooth to copy images from my Nokia 7650 with success.
