6500 processor fan connector

Recently I replaced the processor fan in my old 6500 - serving as a
server for certain applications - but forgot how to put the red and
black wires in the connector to the motherboard...

What should I do: black over red, or red over black when attached, or in
other words: black near the memory strips and red at the side of the
battery, or the other way round?

Txs 4 help
