I'm looking at buying a 5 GB iPod. I found a couple on eBay, but they all
say they're for the Mac. I have a PC. One seller told me I can use the Apple
Updater software to convert it to PC compatible, but he thinks I need a Mac
to initiate the conversion.

Does anyone know if this is accurate or not, and/or how to convert a 5 GB
iPod to PC? Also, is the 10 GB one PC-compatible? I believe the 10GB one is
a 2nd Gen.

Any info would be very much appreciated.
