Most of us are aware of these fine points (my old company owned a CCAT prototype in the early 90's, where it sat collecting dust with a Fortune 32:16). But Jef did initiate the project, regardless of what the final product had eventually morphed into. To use a crude metaphor, the laws of physics have settled into a form different from that after the Big Bang. But where would they be without the Big Bang? Joe |
