Is it just me, or do other people think the user interface
to FCX stinks? I've been fairly happy with Apple branded
software in the past, but I'm thinking I'll have to go back
to Adobe Premier. I can't believe, for example, that aligning
text in a window is done by moving a little cursor around
*IN A DIFFERENT WINDOW* without being able to
see what the text now looks like (i.e., no WYSIWYG).

Today, the **** thing started beeping at me with no
indication of what was wrong. As best I can tell, it
needed some "rendering" done first (at least, once I
ran the render command, by accident, the beeping
stopped). Why in the HELL wouldn't a dialog box
come up if this needed to be done? I read through
the whole manual and couldn't find a single discussion
of this problem.

And the thing is *buggy* too. For some reason, it
decided to take one of my titles and replace all the
following video on the track by that title.

Unbelievable that such a thing comes from Apple...
