| Another switcher Hi, I have bought a Powerbook some 7 months ago and never regretted it, even bought a G5 now ;-) However on the Powerbook something strange happens, every time I close the lid it behaves as it should, like you see the hart beat light, and when I reopen it I am good to go again But recently, after an unspecific time it shuts itself down completely. Still I see the heart beat, but when I open it nothing happens, even hart beat disappears. Only thing I can do is to boot it This happens both on battery as well as on ac power Powersettings in systempreferences are all set that it should never shut down What am I missing Thanks Pim |

In other words, when you lift the lid, do you then hit the space bar (which would wake it up if it were sleeping)... Also, what's the battery condition like when this happens?
