| Transferring Mail Folders I am using Netscape Navigator 3.08 since it serves my needs. I am considering upgrading to OE, but I cannot seem to find out how to move my numerous mail folders. I have looked at Communicator as a two step process, but I don't seem to find anything in its Help section. Have I waited too long, or can someone offer some guidance? |

Unless it's changed a lot, you should be able to import your mail and contacts into OE. It may be necessary to upgrade your Netscape first, though. -- Brian Ehni |

If you are upgrading to a new version of Communicator, I think you can just drag your existing mail folders into the new Communicator user folder by means of Finder drag and drop. No importing is needed. At least this is the way it worked for me when I was using Communicator. If you want to go to OE, then you should be able to import. Bill -- To send e-mail, remove .invalid |

You may find the process less painful if you import your old mail into Netscape version 7.0 or higher first, then import it into OE. And please don't take this as a recommendation to switch to OE--I certainly would *not* want to accused of that... :-) - Mike |
