Help...Hard Drive thinks it's a package

I have an extra hard drive that I had a bunch of mp3's on, and not all
of them were backed up. All of a sudden OS X has taken it over. When I
do a get info on the drive it says it's a package and not a volume.
When I try to open it I get the message that it's being used by Mac OS
X and cannot be opened. SilverKeeper was the culprit. Any ideas on how
to get it back to a volume?

Thanks

Packages are often denoted by .pkg in the name, are they not? The extension
would be hidden by the Finder, so check it with the terminal application or
Finder's "Get Info" window. Remove the .pkg extension and it should be back
to normal.
